You're Invited!
For the purpose of celebrating and recognizing volunteers, mentors, PALS, NCC, PTA, Community Partners to GISD, and many more!
There are few gifts that can be given that are greater than the gift of our time. Mentors, PTA Volunteers, Volunteer tutors, office aides, as well as business, community, and Southwestern University partners have all contributed many hours on behalf of the students and staff of GISD. Let us recognize you, the volunteer!
This Thursday evening, festivities are being held at the Rodney and Mary Ann Klett Performing Arts Center. Reception begins at 5:30 PM with the Awards Ceremony starting at 6:30 PM.
This event is open to the whole community. Please join us for an evening of recognition and celebrating those who give of their time freely for the benefit of all.

VOLUNTEERS AND MENTORS NEEDED NOW!
Neighborhood Conference Committee Volunteers are needed immediately. For more information and contact details, please click the Learn More link under the Volunteer tab above.
GISD Mentor Trainings will be the First Thursday of the month at 10:30 a.m. at the GHS Annex on Austin Ave. in room 132 (excluding dates GISD is closed.) and the first Tuesday at 7:00 PM in room 111 of the Olin Building at Southwestern. All training will be conducted by Laura Antoine, District Mentor Program Director and can be reached at 512-943-5175.
